How many of you got demons back home? Or met 'em here? Tell me about 'em.

So why would those sorta things be around?

You die, get resurrected and die again. Though with the deities allowing him to keep his body in the otherworld then I suppose he could be killed there as well, but that would be messy. There may be another world after death but I'm sure there isn't anything else after a soul dies.

[...That's amazing. She blinks at the book, actually at a loss for words as she tries to process all that. The deity chain was just neat but the Afterlife? Souls moving on? Souls go places? And if they do - did Harth? Or...]

[Bulma waits for a bit before talking again, seeing as there's no response from the other side.]

I guess. We had some stories about demons that weren't too bad, though. But most of the ones I met weren't good.

What sorta ones aren't too bad?

Well, we got mutants lookin' like demons an' angels straight outta the stories, so I guess you can't blame 'em.

Yeah, Lilith helped us figure out how to take down the BHB Army that Rukifellth led. And she's really good at fighting, and apparently it's because she's descended from a demon, so she can do things like fly and shoot energy blasts and things like that. She's also really strong -- Pommy saw her rip open a metal door once!

Pommy doesn't know Rukifellth as well, but he seems okay too. He said he had much less demonic blood in him than Lilith, so Pommy supposes he was only mean because Sthertoth possessed him.

[She nods to herself. Okay, that all makes- fly and energy blases?]

Huh. Sounds like you've had some adventures.

Needs? You know like... someone with mental diffs?

Guess not. Sorta odd it worked out like that.

I'm not really informed. I only know because my friend is in the thick of it, and he's not much of a talker.

There was a man from a world where becoming a vampire was...sort of an infection. All you needed to do was be bitten, and in three days you'd die and return as a vampire.

Have you not heard of voodoo, lass? The black and polluted arts? Spirit possession? Unpleasant, it is, and a most effective form of torture.

Well, that's good then. Better if it's a lot but amazing than it being a lot and horrible.

Well, I grew up with stories about demons that cried and wished they were human.

I don't know why the demons I deal with are so different from that.
