Another question. Demons and the like, does the general population know about them or is this something kept under wraps?

From the farthest corner of the universe... If the universe had corners, that is. In fact the one that was called King of Demons in my world fitted perfectly the "alien" bill. Green, with antennas, purple blood... Reproduced himself through eggs...

But... evil.

Aliens are evil, or just that guy?

There used to be magic in the world, then it disappeared or was lost, and now it's back again?

Not that I've ever met, non. But I know a few people've been called one.

The cult, Shomonkai, want to gather enough followers and summon their god, Belberith, in order to overcome God's ordeal. Ironically, their actions made the ordeal happen sooner...as the lockdown.

Because of them, the government must find a way to deal with all the demons or else they risk failing the ordeal.

Seems to be a trend. It 'cus you got mutations?

God's- what now? Some kinda god's involved here too?

Well I told you the origins. Magic around, stuff happens, demons leave. Still magic then. But two cen ago, poof. No more magic 'cus one Slayer beats all the demons and lurks and all the evil stuff.

Depends on what you consider evil. They are... Just like people. I've met very evil aliens, but I've met aliens that are just the prototype of good-doer. In fact, the alien known as King of Demons was just half an alien, the other half became my planet's god, no trace of evil at all in him. Ironic, isn't it?

Yeah. The Christian God. Not happy that his dear humans got tempted and strayed by demons.

Basically the story is this: little alien is sent to Earth when his planet faces destruction, other aliens from his race are supposed to follow but for some reason they don't make it. The alien ends all alone waiting for who knows how long and eventually ends finding God's palace, he becomes the apprentice of the god active back then but he can't take up the role as god because there's evil in his heart. So he tries to exorcise himself or something and ends splitting in two aliens, both with full bodies mind you, one pure and full of good and the other pure of evil... And probably anger because, gosh, rejected by your own self? I can't sympathize with him but that wasn't nice either.

["I work for a fish" earns a laugh.] Naw, back home, us mutants're the minority. Most people're afraid of us.

Meanwhile, my friends and I was doing our best to survive. We got a lot of close calls, like almost being froze to death.

Then...after I defeated an immortal god, I ended up in a war to be a demon overlord. [Yeah.]

No more bad stuff.

So what changed?

Evil can do that, darling. This man, eh? He had a beautiful, ravishing daughter. And she wanted nothing more than to save that sin-riddled soul of his. To that end, she kidnapped me and pressed me into service. I had information she needed, you see.

They come from the Underworld, and some people in my world can make contracts with them if they're strong enough. You definitely don't want to be on their bad side.

...Hah. In the warrens, feels like people with no mutations are slim sometimes.
