Shiram and Queenie are a dynamic duo - they have been since they were born, and when they evolved (Shiram for the second time, and Queenie for the first) they moved into the Habitat together due to their increased size. While still overall small for a Charizard and still with a curious and somewhat of a fidgety attitude, Shiram has become more used to his new firepower, joining the ranks of Melaka's more dedicated fighters. He's still a loyal member of the Legion of the Moss Rock, though.

Pre-4/15 Melaka encountered Shiram while scouting out the Scorched Forest for a future ranger mission. The thing was in a partially hatched egg whose clutch had all been eaten, and there was blood to indicate the parents had been killed too. He immediately attached to her as a mother figure and currently has a budding friendship born of mutual babyhood with her Machop. He's named from a fragment of a name she found in an old library book, while researching powerful dragons - having been inspired by Armin's talk of what he'll eventually become. Because he is currently a small baby he lives in Melaka's apartment.	Pre-9/6 Shiram was in a nest of slaughtered Charmander eggs Melaka found in the Scorched Forest. Given there was evidence that the parents had been killed too and that the egg had hatched in front of her, Shiram was taken in by Melaka. The more simple of the two babies, Shiram is easily impressed and very curious about the world around him. He's prone to fidgeting when nothing is going on, but on the whole he's not a bad kid. He was named for a fragmented passage on a legendary dragon that Melaka found in the library and sounded cool after Armin told Melaka that Charmanders evolve into dragons. Among the rest of the team, Shiram is inseparable from Queenie. He might be slightly older than her, but you would never know it watching the two of them - Queenie is the headstrong one, and Shiram will follow her lead, except when his curiosity makes him go ahead of her. Among the others he is most impressed with Willow (having willingly joined her Legion), Sneak (their cool aunt), and Lurks (their regularly guardian). None of the others have a strong impression on him.	Pre-3/1 <ul><li>Shiram was a pokémon that Melaka found, barely hatched, out in the Scorched Forest. The area around the nest he was in seemed to imply his parents had been killed, and so she took him in and named him after some god she'd found a vague reference to in a library book.</li> <li>Because he hatched around the same time as Queenie, the two were for a long time "the babies" - raised in Melaka's apartment by Sneak and later Trooper, and inseparable from each other. This remains true even though they are both somewhat more mature now.</li> <li>Shiram's bright and curious about the world around him. In spite of his tragic beginnings, he has a deep attachment to his team, Melaka, Queenie, and more or less everyone else he encountered. It's for this reason he was the first to join Willow's Legion of the Moss Rock, despite being a contradictory type.</li> <li>Shiram hasn't changed much since his evolution - if anything, the fact that he evolved before Queenie did was a surprise to everyone, himself included. His newfound size and somewhat increase in power though has prompted him to go out and explore more.</li> <li>Lately, given that him and Queenie are almost a year old, Melaka's been trying to use them more in a battle situation, taking them out into the Verdant Forest to give them proper battle experience. They still don't participate in spars with the rest of the crew, though.</li> <li><b>Favorite Teammates</b>: Queenie, Trooper, Willow</li> <li><b>Least Favorite Teammates</b>: Kettie (harassed him)</li></ul>
Pre-4/9 Shiram is the more "meek" of the dynamic duo that is Shiram and Queenie, but that should not be taken to mean that he's timid. Inquisitive by nature, but not prone to strutting his stuff, the Charmeleon is actually fairly small for his species, probably because of complications in being born prematurely when Melaka found him. Still, his name holds hope that he'll become the dragon Melaka knows he can be, and until then, he'll have fun with all of his friends on her team.
