Lives In: Melaka's Apartment - often hangs out around Union

Trooper was recruited as a Silcoon and named because of withstanding Shiram's fire despite all of his friends fleeing And so, for about a month, Melaka allowed him to grow in his cocoon in the corner of her small apartment until finally, he emerged as a Beautifly. After that, and since then, Trooper's been sort of the assigned babysitter for the younger members of Melaka's team, a trait that his patience really works for.

When Melaka was training Shiram against comparatively weak bugs in the Verdant Forest, Trooper was one of the the bugs she encountered.  Isolated from all it's kindred, the cocoon still refused to back down and held a firm gaze.  It's for this reason that Melaka bonded with him and gave him a corner of her apartment to continue his time in the Silcoon stage in peace.  While he was a Silcoon, Trooper obviously could not do very much and just kept and eye on everyone who entered or left the apartment.

All of this changed when he finally sprouted out as a Beautifly.  Willow evolved around the same time, and Trooper took up the duty of being the one who watched the babies while Mel and Sneak were off on adventures.  Free of his own prison that he was in pre-evolution, the bug type pokemon has a tendency to fly all over the city when he's not playing babysitter to take in all the sights.  He remains soft-spoken but diligent, and while he seems to have little interest in battle, he has a great interest in getting to know the rest of Melaka's team in a way which was simply impossible in his previous form.  As a result, he has a budding relationship with all of them, even if some (most notably Brownie) don't seem to like <i>him</i> all that much.  He has a particularly good relationship with Shimmer, unique of most of the rest of the team.  It's probably because Trooper sparkles a little.
