Dukuduku is a self-styled here and self-styled leader of the Duku Duku Squad, a team of dunsparce who all wear capes and lived out on the Rolling Plains before setting out on a journey across the world to spread their message. He joined up with Melaka to try to increase his power, and also in hopes of reuniting with the other four. He's brash and prone to dramatic speeches, like a cheesy superhero.

Pre-9/27

Dukuduku is part of a larger squad, a group of do-gooders from the same tribe looking to continue being do-gooders by moving out around the world to increase their network and to be of help to those who need it. With the increase of travelling, as well in particular with people and pokémon together, the Dukuduku had decided that joining forces with a human as well would be worth giving a go, and so looked out for a partner.

Melaka happened to be his choice due to being in the same area as him at the time, and he was fond of her multi-coloured hair - like the cape he has on him, a blue cape with a red inside (asking how he got it just has him saying that each of those in his group has them: it represents their squad). Dukduku has decided to follow Melaka to see where he'll go and do by doing so, and willing gives to her and her group his strength. He's interested in learning new skills of fighting.

He is also looking out for others part of his tribe/squad that have spread out through the world.
