Like I said, it fries organisms, especially if they get too warm or if they're too close to the sun. There's another myth about a boy named Icarus. Icarus was the son of Daedalus, who was a craftsman. Daedalus created two sets of wings made of feathers and wax that allowed a person to fly, unlike our useless appendages. Daedalus warned Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, but like an absolute idiot, Icarus did anyway. His wings melted and he plummeted to his death.

That's just one example.
