So, is this Slayer part two here, show up in some "other world?" Gotta say, this is totally toy if it is.

But hey, girl's gotta do, right? So any lurks out there, here I am. Come find me, I dare you.

[To be honest, she's not sure if she believes this is the case or not. She's just restless - to be out of Versi, to not be near Gates or Erin or her new flat with all the heritage she was just beginning to discover. To assume - or perhaps more accurately, pretend - that showing up in this weird wing-world is an extension of that whole deal.

If anyone wants an action portion instead, she's ~~wishing she had her scythe or blaster~~ hanging out around central plaza, on one of the shop roofs, watching people. At least she has on her own set of clothes by now]

Also, it is rather extraordinary---how you talk.

[What the hell is a "rapscallion" ? But she gets what it means, and all at once she feels a sort of kinship to this guy. Wow, weird. She almost comments on that promise, but no, let's drop that for now]

I guess you don't really need the traditional "Welcome to Hell" conversation? You seem to be getting a lot of that already... [If he was to judge by the number of convos she's in. He's probably gonna secretly stalk some of those. =|a]

...I guess so. Still -- there's -- it's nice, I guess. I've never met another Slayer who's had to do the alone thing. And that's probably a good thing but it's nice to...be relate-able.

The bar's a little more suited to a liquid diet but...but, hey? I have all the fixings for sandwiches at home and I have it on a semi-trustworthy authority that I can't mess those up too badly. If you're game.

Oh, I wouldn't go so far as to call it cooking. What with the it mostly just being cold things put on bread. It's not even hardly a science. But...hey, whatever slices your loaf.

[Mel does much the same, falling into pace behind the woman. She's shorter, but older... and more importantly, she's done this calling longer. She's a Slayer. Probably a more real Slayer than she can ever be. She's got a lot of think about, so she just makes a sound of confirmation]

Sounds a bit Creole to my ears. Not so much like Tia, and yet everything like Tia. Poetical. I like it.
