We got demons back on my Earth... Though actually they were just called demons due being cruel, violent, aiming to rule the world and create a reign of terror and death. Oh, and for looking quite different and having crazy powers.

[That would... Sum it up about Piccolo, right? Honestly, even knowing the story and the truth she still has issues thinking of Piccolo's father as anything but King of Demons.]

Because they are aliens from another planet. Though I can't say that's better than them being demons in some cases.

From the farthest corner of the universe... If the universe had corners, that is. In fact the one that was called King of Demons in my world fitted perfectly the "alien" bill. Green, with antennas, purple blood... Reproduced himself through eggs...

Depends on what you consider evil. They are... Just like people. I've met very evil aliens, but I've met aliens that are just the prototype of good-doer. In fact, the alien known as King of Demons was just half an alien, the other half became my planet's god, no trace of evil at all in him. Ironic, isn't it?

Technically.

Basically the story is this: little alien is sent to Earth when his planet faces destruction, other aliens from his race are supposed to follow but for some reason they don't make it. The alien ends all alone waiting for who knows how long and eventually ends finding God's palace, he becomes the apprentice of the god active back then but he can't take up the role as god because there's evil in his heart. So he tries to exorcise himself or something and ends splitting in two aliens, both with full bodies mind you, one pure and full of good and the other pure of evil... And probably anger because, gosh, rejected by your own self? I can't sympathize with him but that wasn't nice either.

In my world at least, mostly because Gods aren't all powerful beings right from the start. They become close to all powerful through training I suppose, but at the end of it anyone could become God if they have a pure heart and enough power, as well as a will to protect and look after the world.

[Bulma is all fine with this actually, because her scientist part has issues accepting that humanity was just created by a deity. She can believe in magic and such but not even Shenron can just go and create something out of nothing.]

So far the system seems to have worked pretty well. Though at times I wonder if there's one God per planet, or that's just mine. I know there are higher deities above the God of Earth, but I don't know how they got to those positions.

[She wouldn't be surprised if it was a similar process anyway.]

Universal govern more probably. I don't know much about it but I know the universe is apparently divided in four sections that fit with the cardinal points. For example, our Earth is placed in the North Galaxy, but it seems they use 'galaxy' differently than us, as in a wider meaning. What we consider a galaxy is just a small part of a real galaxy for them.

The North Galaxy is watched over by North Kai, who is basically the god of the whole galaxy and thus is above Earth's god. And apparently there's even another deity above him but I'm not sure.

[Maybe she should ask Goku a bit more about the future.]

Not that I know of, I could be wrong but that's how Son-kun climbed the scale. He got trained by Earth's god and after he died he went to train with North Kai as he was apparently the next strongest being. I suppose that if there's a deity between those two it must be a lame one not worth mentioning.

Unless you count the guy who judges souls as one, but I haven't heard of him being a deity.

[Not that she knows how he looks either.]

To decide who is sent to Heaven and who is sent to Hell, it's bad enough with demons and evil people running around while we're alive. You wouldn't want them parading around after your death as well, would you?

[At least that's how it sounded.]

It sure is, never been there myself, fortunately. But Son-kun has... Apparently more than once if what he said is true, but I only know of one time.

You die, get resurrected and die again. Though with the deities allowing him to keep his body in the otherworld then I suppose he could be killed there as well, but that would be messy. There may be another world after death but I'm sure there isn't anything else after a soul dies.

[Bulma waits for a bit before talking again, seeing as there's no response from the other side.]

Was that a bit too much?

[She can think of many reasons why someone would fall silent after what she said after all. But the most neutral and less intruding way to ask that she can think of now is that.]
