Giles? Is he okay? He never...[ awkwardly, buffy realizes that giles never contacted her. does that mean that it wasn't so bad? or that it was worse? or was she purposefully kept out of the loop? ]

When I left I'd gotten him all bandaged up and offered to help 'em get up some stairs. Said he had a friend he could call to do that though, so I-

N-no. It's not your fault. None of us expected another vamp to show, I don't think. Besides Angel, it's been so long...[ spike, really. but he'd been soulled as well. the last genuine problem vamp had been drusilla. and she had left so very long ago. ]

If he had someone to look after him then he's gotta be fine. And I haven't heard anything otherwise...

[ still. giles. giles who she can't ever let die ever again. ]

...I've seen him get up from worse. [ besides -- she and giles are all kinds of uncertain. would it be too over-bearing, she wonders? does it even matter? ] But y-yeah. Consider him penciled in to my checking agenda.
