[You know she almost, almost signed on for that one mission. A guard, surviving, she knew she could handle it. But then when she saw that "desert" thing. she has no idea what a desert is, so today she is at the library researching that, mostly because she really doesn't have much better to do today. She is clearly in a better mood though- all her earrings are in place (one of them she even thinks might be gold) and she she has a shiny nose stud in place. But... as she learns more and looks into these things more-

She's gotten over being afraid of the sun (somewhat) in Luceti, mostly because of how dreary winter is, but that desert that... she flips open her journal]

Hey, Luceti. Talk to me 'bout the sun. Some of you got tales for it, right? Gotta.

There's... kind of a story about it. Not as much as the stars, though.

Stars, huh? [...something in that icon looks weird. Oh well] I'm game for any kinda tale.

Well, the sun is sort of called the Circle of Life, but we call a couple of things that.

But... when I was young, my father once told me that all of the stars in the sky... the great kings of the past are up there, looking down on us from the stars. "They'll always be there to guide you".

...Yeah. Once.

I get that tale, or should I ask 'bout that circle?

[redheadlion]

The circle of life? It's... the governing principle, I think.

So it's not the sun. What's the principle tell you?

[redheadlion]

It is and it isn't. We call the sun the circle of life, but the circle of life is also about respecting your role. I'm a lion... so I eat antelope, and other animals. But when I die, my body will become the grass that the antelope eat. We're all a part of the circle.

[...No idea what a lion is. Or antelope. But.]

Huh... that's sense.

You'd think, right? But there's a lot of animals that think they're above that! It takes someone keeping them in line to make sure everything is balanced in the ecosystem.

Hold up. What's an ecosystem?

[redheadlion]

You know, everything from the plants, to the animals, and the environment and the weather. All that stuff. Everything has to be balanced.

...Don't know, but it does sound pretty spled, putting it like that.

"Spled"?

Yeah, lotta people never've heard of the stuff I say. Comes with the cen.
