Hoo, Luceti. You one and only [...sorry Azusa. This actually hurts way less than she thought it would, which makes her smile even broader.] warrens gal here.

[She's sitting atop a building in the setting sun. The journal is aimed at her side as he's sitting here on the ledge. In her hand she is spinning a tooth - the one she's holding is somewhat smaller than her forearm, so about the size of a typical dagger.]

In a bit've a broil. Got this tooth, and fig I oughta do something with it. Got some who told me to give it to meds, but don't wanna nuke it. Got any other thinks? Poss I won't get a thing, but might as well put 'em on the Grid.

[...Hah]

...Glad I got to go home. [A little contented sigh. She didn't get to stay, but even a day now that she can remember it makes all the difference in the world.]

[The camera begins opening on her naval area. She has on a loose top despite it's finally getting warm enough for her to reasonably do so - as such, her middrift is exposed. And with it is exposed something she got this time last month. It's a very deliberate showing (and a message about being willing to talk she hope she doesn't have to say outright), and she then jerks it back up to her face. As usually, she has about four earrings in and the nose stud, but her wings are exposed due to a lack of coat. The silver clip on her left wing and the tattoo she has on that same shoulder are thus both plainly visible.

And her expression... well she's trying to make it less hard than it maybe tends to be. Still, given her subject matter, it's still severe]


Four rutting kidnappings on this book in the last three days. Anyone spot that? Had to. [exhale]

Need some carrier pigeons. [Maybe she should request that if/when she gets a new mission. Yes, definitely should.]

Hey, Azusa - ...Or anyone, I guess. Gonna risk beer. Want in?

[And then, as promised, you might see one Melaka Fray at good spirits... risking beer, as it was. Which is indeed a risk - the spirits they used in Haddyn were different than this and she's not familiar with normal, natural-ish ingredients. She'll only have a little, but that's enough to make her feel quite warm and quite silly. So you might catch her there, with her beer or with a cola in the downtime... or you might catch her outside on this night as she tries to cool herself down.

Once again, the duel with Harth was inconclusive. And she still doesn't know where he is. Where could he actually be hiding? It's obnoxious. ...and then, with a surprise, she finds that she can see her breath as a foggy thing in the night air. She actually starts at that, not expecting it. Weird. So weird.

Oh, and she has her weapons on her through this, of course - blaster, stake, and a sword which she mercifully puts on the counter in the bar itself]

[LUCETI, HO FARE THEE ON THE HIGH SEAS TODAY? Because Melaka the Sailor is having a grand ol time. Aboard her mighty ship she is bound to islands and countries unknown in search of fame and fortune to make a good name for herself now that she has discovered that this is the true route to making your dreams happen! And she is doing this-!

...Well in actuality with her piercings back in place (and a few new bits of jewelry on her over the course of the day, such as silver bracelets and such) she is in a wagon which she is "sailing" all through town, going to various "islands" (houses) and "lands unknown" (buildings and shops) or "countries" (community buildings) to go exploring and looking for her fame and fortune. She might encounter numerous monsters or challenges or the like along the way, but it sure promises to be a fantastic adventure.

Why don't you guys get involved? ...Or question why she's standing on a wagon with an oar pushing it on the ground to go around town if you want to not be sucked into the tale. Both work. Just know she is armed just in case]

[All told, Melaka's feeling pretty good. Sure, Harth had bit someone, but he survived and she gave him a nice nasty burn. It gives her a grim sort of satisfaction. Enough of one that despite being in a "new world" and one she still isn't that familiar with she's open to going out for a bit of fun today during the daylight hours. If you see her out today you might notice that despite having on loose-fitting clothing and exposing some fair bit of skin here and there, she's also wearing enough sunscreen for it to be quite noticeable.

And she's also got her emergency stores back. Her ear piercings and her nose stud. Jesu, it's good to have them back. But looking in the item shop - which she's going to spend most of her morning doing - there sure are a lot of other things. All the stuff in here... to think it's free. In Versi, even a handful of this would be worth a Sil and seventy coi, at least. But yes, some shopping - mostly looking at jewelry and other shiny things - first, then going to get herself some food at the grocery (she is similarly amazed by fruit) and then to the Smithy. She needs to get some weapons for her apartment

And then sitting on a bench to watch some folks. She'll jump around a bit later, for now she's trying to get used to imagining the "peaceful" life. Maybe she'll go to the library too, get herself some more stuff to read.

...Basically, all around the square during the day. And then stopping to check out that Good Spirits bar that night before she sets out to look for Harth again. Trying to feel "normal" here a bit. Run into her anywhere, invent a situation or just be there. Mel's not totally unsocial]
