[LUCETI, HO FARE THEE ON THE HIGH SEAS TODAY? Because Melaka the Sailor is having a grand ol time. Aboard her mighty ship she is bound to islands and countries unknown in search of fame and fortune to make a good name for herself now that she has discovered that this is the true route to making your dreams happen! And she is doing this-!

...Well in actuality with her piercings back in place (and a few new bits of jewelry on her over the course of the day, such as silver bracelets and such) she is in a wagon which she is "sailing" all through town, going to various "islands" (houses) and "lands unknown" (buildings and shops) or "countries" (community buildings) to go exploring and looking for her fame and fortune. She might encounter numerous monsters or challenges or the like along the way, but it sure promises to be a fantastic adventure.

Why don't you guys get involved? ...Or question why she's standing on a wagon with an oar pushing it on the ground to go around town if you want to not be sucked into the tale. Both work. Just know she is armed just in case]

...It is kinda small, yeah. [Sheepishly] Not a lotta ships back in Haddyn though.

Landlocked, huh? [As much as Kurt loves pirates (as a concept), he has practically no experience in sailing. Unless a cruise ship counts.]

More like you don't go on the water if you're smart. [She imagines there must be big ships that transport in things for the Uppers or something... but in the Warrens, or at least in Versi you never know when the water might be toxic or not]

Why not? [Maybe Melaka can't swim!]

Plus it's green. And small builds. Kinda odd all around.

[A sigh] Haddyn's a big city. Down in the warrens we got some clean water - runoffs, retentions, that sorta thing; no point in boats bigger than a little dingie there. Just sorta acidic there. But stuff which had factory dumbs in it tends to bed toxic. Only looks it some've the time. Either way, this- [She waves an arm offhand at the trees] Don't see a lotta this in the warrens. Or anywhere in Haddyn 'cept in the Uppers, they got big gardens and such.

[The more he hears, the more this place sounds like a hellhole. He's looking pretty sympathetic about the whole thing.]

Mountains to climbs, beaches to visit, forests to explore. It's pretty cool. Just wait until winter kicks in too.

[Bayville didn't have a lot of wide open spaces. So for him, this is a lot like being home in Germany with his parents. He rather likes it at times.]
