[She got told people like apples int his season! Or apples with caramel, rather. Which is why she has one in hand when she comes to the door to get it open for Buffy. He hair's a bit undone as compared to normal and she didn't bother to apply the lip-work yet, but.]

[ her words are light; her tone isn't. buffy steps inside and shifts the strap of her purse on her shoulder. but she sees that caramel apple and has at least a small smile. ]

It's not Halloween yet, you know.

...It's gotta do with Halloween? I got told it was the cold part.

[She looks at the caramel apple. And frowns]

That's just sad.

We already talked this, Summers. No Patricks, Christ-mass, or Halloween.

Halloween's where we get the night off and all the kids run around in costumes and get candy. Win-win.

[And she tries to hand off the caramel apple. Again. If only because she feels silly holding it now]

[And there's the sound of, yep. A lamp being smashed. Sigh]
