This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. It's the principle. That and...that and I'm not entirely convinced he didn't just try it out of petty jealousy.

But it's good to know, y'know? That you're good for it.

I'm a lotta things, and a warrens gal at heart, but never could warm up to killing people. Not for contract, anyway.

Not every girl is so conscientious.

Might wanna hold off on calling me a saint though, biggest issue I got with it is someone telling me what to do.

No, no. [She shakes a hand here, dismissively. Her brow furrows a little] Not evil-toy or killer-toy. Nothing skew like that. Just... toy. To be around? Cap mentioned speeches.

...Angel's my ex-honey and Jack's my current...uhm, maybe current honey. Of course he's gonna do the defamation of character route. He's a freaking pirate, after all.

I still don't really get that a pirate is.

You got boats in the future, Melaka?

[Uh...] I know what they are.

Think of pirates as boat-based thieves. Only slightly more romanticized and possibly less clean. But I've gone a very long ways to introducing Jack to the magic of modern hygiene.

...So what's "rapscallion?"

So are most of yours. Still -- Jack? Yeah, okay. He's a little creative with the talking. But I like that. It's a tick in the plus column.

[You won't be alone. It's what she thought when she found the Diaries and therefore a history. But this... is on an entirely different level. This is a woman who can understand her life to some extent. That's... impressive. That's amazing]
