[You know she almost, almost signed on for that one mission. A guard, surviving, she knew she could handle it. But then when she saw that "desert" thing. she has no idea what a desert is, so today she is at the library researching that, mostly because she really doesn't have much better to do today. She is clearly in a better mood though- all her earrings are in place (one of them she even thinks might be gold) and she she has a shiny nose stud in place. But... as she learns more and looks into these things more-

She's gotten over being afraid of the sun (somewhat) in Luceti, mostly because of how dreary winter is, but that desert that... she flips open her journal]

As far as mythology goes, there are a variety of deities that represent the sun. The Greeks had Apollo, the Olympian god, and the Titan god, Helios. The Egyptians had Ra, the Japanese had Amaterasu, the sun goddess. Those are probably some of the most well known ones.

There was a reason. He killed another goddess, which angered Amaterasu. That is why she left him. She couldn't accept his actions.

I know that if you sunbathe in 100 degree temperature or above, you can fall asleep and never wake up.

I also know most Solar entities are male, with only a few myths having a female to represent the sun. Only one I can recall off of my head at the moment is Amaterasu-omikami. Her brother Susanoo was the moon.

You know? That's a great question. We have our share of mutants here and there--people who don't look quite normal... but I never really considered if the suns cause anything.

Definitely get some pretty good sunburns, sometimes.
